How do you change the rotors on a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?

Im replacing the front rotors on my girlfriends jeep, and iv gotten the calipers off...now shouldnt the rotor slide right off the hub? or do i need to mess with the big bolt in the center of the rotor? You know the one thats got a pin in it?How do you change the rotors on a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?
they should slide right off although there maybe a small star washer on the lug bolt to hold the rotor on,

do not mess with the center boltHow do you change the rotors on a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?
some Jeep Cherokee's have rotors on hubs (removable rotors without moving the hub) But I really think this was an upgrade on the Grand Cherokee not on the Sport model - The hub/rotor assembly may have to be removed as one unit. How do you change the rotors on a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?
Pull the pin out.

Take that big bolt off.

Now pull the rotor off.

On the new rotor, tap the outer race of the inside bearing into the backside.

Pack the bearing and drop into the race.

Tap the seal in.

Slip the rotor over the spindle.

Put in the outer bearing.

Tighten the hub nut firmly.

Back nut off about 1/4 turn.

Line up hole and reinsert pin.

Do other side same way.
