How different is it to change rotors on different types of cars? or are they generally the same?

my friend knows how to change rotors on his car.. but now i want to buy rotors for my car, but i dont know if he still would know how to do it if its a different kind of car..How different is it to change rotors on different types of cars? or are they generally the same?
Changing rotors is pretty much the same process on every car. An older car might have some slight differences, but if your friend knows how to do it on his, odds are he will have no problem doing it on your's as well. How different is it to change rotors on different types of cars? or are they generally the same?
well most cars have trapped rotors. some have to be pulled with a puller. idk what car you have but for the most cars he should be able to as most cars for 15 years or so are trapped. which means pull the Wheel pull the caliper pull the caliper bracket and slide the rotor off and reverseHow different is it to change rotors on different types of cars? or are they generally the same?
Most vehicles, once you remove the caliper, the rotor will just pull right off leaving the hub and wheel studs on the car. Some 4wd vehicles and some honda's require a bit more work. How different is it to change rotors on different types of cars? or are they generally the same?
most of the front wheel drives are similar. about all the ones i worked on, all you do is pull the caliper and pads and the rotor slips right off. if your getting new rotors don,t forget to clean them off with brake cleaner before installing them.
