I have changed rotors before but once your remove the brake caliper on a '97 Civic, the rotor is still held in place by what appears to be part of the hub.
I know that normally you remove the brake calipers and then simply slide the rotor off the studs. But this '97 Civic isn't designed that way. Can anyone tell me what I need to unscrew/un-bolt to take the old rotors off?How do I change the the front brake rotors on a %26039;97 Honda CIvic?
the big nut in middle of hub used on front wheel drive and screw or lock washer in between stud holes loosen nut before taking off caliper or loosen before car jacked up
