thanks in advance,Timing belt change-how to find in 1990 bmw?
The only way to tell is to look out for telltale signs of recent activity in the timing belt area (cleaner bolts and screws compared to the others in the engine...etc). Another way is to visiually inspect the belt itself for cracks, but if you could get to that stage, you might as well just replace the belt anyway since there's already a lot of labor involved.

Haynes repair manuals recommend 40,000 miles while Bentley repair manuals recommend 60,000 miles.

Either way, you should never delay changing it out because you have an interference motor, which could cause bent valves, cams and rocker arms when the belt becomes loose or if it snaps.Timing belt change-how to find in 1990 bmw?
Any dealer will do a free inspection, if your dealer has already said he has swapped it out, you can take his word for it or not,

Keep in mind for your car BMW recommends the belt swapped out at 60,000-70,000 so if you have 85,999 miles on your car you can be assured that you have another 30,000 miles left to go.

As evidence, your belt would have broken already from being dry-rotted or your belt would have some serious cracks in it.Timing belt change-how to find in 1990 bmw?
As with all belts, you can check them visually or you can take it to an Auto parts store that offers free inspections of your belts for a better opinionTiming belt change-how to find in 1990 bmw?
While timing belts have a recommended life other things can lead to failure. Over heat, oil leaks, coolant leaks can shorten the life. To check the belt you need to look at it. Does it show wear? Cracks or discoloration? Did the dealer tell at what millage the belt was changed, and did they replace the cam and crank seals %26amp; water pump?Timing belt change-how to find in 1990 bmw?
Cannot. Even tearing out the timing belt cover (which takes about 2 - 3 hours of labor) and belt is visible, there is no way to tell unless your belt is ready to snap. However, if the BMW dealer said the car was serviced, you can trust because all BMW dealer work is required to be logged into a database.

If larger diameter rotors are installed, the calipers and caliper supports will also have to be replaced.79 chrysler cordoba disc brake replacement?
To perfom the up-grades that you want to do, and not having any idea what to do, I think you should take the car to a performance shop.79 chrysler cordoba disc brake replacement?
You will need to buy a complete setup.

Because you are buying the for cosmetic reasons, anything with stock braking power or better will do.

Wilwood has some complete setups that look good with open mag wheels -%26gt; http://www.wilwood.com/Centers/Informati

Brembo makes pretty one's, but they dont make them for vehicles this old.

Stainless Steel Brake company also makes some, but they arent as flashy. You can find them on summitt's website here -%26gt; http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.79 chrysler cordoba disc brake replacement?
Chryslers had plenty of brakes from the factory... to stop them

(unlike the early Mustangs and Cougars)

I strictly the looks of the car is the concern may I suggest you get some brake to wheel backing plate shields... (like the ones sold thru J C Whitney)

they keep brake dust off your rims and hide the caloper and rotors etc from view...'

you can save money and put it else where like special vented rotors and upgraded pad %26amp; shoe linings, braided steel brake lines and etc.

this will not only save you a lot of money but headaches as well

what type of vehicle is this for? on my 98 mustang it cost about $1400 for all 4 corners to do pads, rotors, calipers. i have Brembo calipers up front though with cobra rears. without giving an exact vehicle it is very hard to give a correct answer. things including if it has ASB, 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, the size of the stock wheels can make a difference as well. rotors on some fords without ABS can be maybe $70 a piece, but with ABS can be over $250 a piece. How much witll it cost to change my brakes?

How to change a distributor cap and rotor on a 99 jimmy 4.3?

Is there anything I must do besides take it apart and change it?How to change a distributor cap and rotor on a 99 jimmy 4.3?
Mark ALL your spark plug wires!!

Or, transfer one at a time from the old cap to the new cap.

It's a real pain in the %26quot;neck%26quot; to figure out where they go after the get switched around. How to change a distributor cap and rotor on a 99 jimmy 4.3?
Easy. Use a Sharpie to mark each spark plug wire's position on the distributor. Then unplug the electrical connector at the base of the distributor and loosen the 2 cap screws. Remove the cap. Now pull off the old rotor. It should come off easily.

Install the new rotor, place the cap into position and install the 2 screws. Put the spark plug wires back in the exact same positions and you're good to go.

How often do you need to change the break rotors on you automobile?

If you change the pads before they are gone and the steel plates eat into the rotors you may not have to change them at all. I find you usually have to change them if they warp due to excessive braking. If you get a lot of vibration when braking you may need to change them. Also if they are gouged, or worn thin. How often do you need to change the break rotors on you automobile?
Depends on how it's been driven and how far the pads wore down. It's not a mileage thing. How often do you need to change the break rotors on you automobile?
Typically break rotors are considered a catastrophic failure....BRAKE rotors should be replaced when they wear down to below thickness specifications...How often do you need to change the break rotors on you automobile?
    Thet are BRAKE rotors.

You don't, unless there is a problem like severe wear. Machining can be done if they are not too bad.

How do you change rear drum brakes to disk on a Nissan Sentra?

I have a 1992 Nissan Sentra XE (four door), and I want to change the stock drum brakes on the rear to disk brakes. I would also like to change the rotors in the front to bigger ones. What all do I need to do? I don't need an exact answer for my car, just the basic steps for converting drum brakes to disk.

Right now its FWD, so it doesn't even have power going back there, but I still want disk brakes. I am planning on doing an engine swap, and making it RWD, but that's a whole other animal. How do you change rear drum brakes to disk on a Nissan Sentra?
Your money would be best spent on a car less than 18 years old. That said everything is different from the master Cly to the rear parking brake cables and hydraulic hoses and tubing.. It could get costly quickly. I know only anti lock brake sentra had disks rear the 1994 year model. You could get used parts out of a autorecyclers yard. They don't like being called junk yards. I have never seen a rear wheel drive sentra conversion. If you want a 350Z get one it would be cheaper and performance parts will be available. Good LuckHow do you change rear drum brakes to disk on a Nissan Sentra?
I have to totally agree with John Paul...These are some ambitious and potentially expensive mods for that old car. As much as I like Nissan and agree they can run and run you gotta worry if or when the rust will start.... The biggest killer of these cars is not mechanical but body cancer....I would drive it the way it is and save your money...If your heart is set on the rear wheel drive consider a Z car--if you like the Sentra a R or Spec V are what is in your future.

How to control the fluctuation of energy in wind turbine?

Due to the change in the wind speed, the speed of the wind turbine rotor changes, so at the output we get variable AC supply which means we do not get exactly constant voltage and frequency.

It can be control by controlling shaft speed and at the output by varying the load (Resistance).

I need to submit a case study about that so tell me about any site or e-book where I can find comprehensive details about that. How to control the fluctuation of energy in wind turbine?
