How much do Audi brake pads cost and rotors?

I have a 2006 Audi A4 quattro. I took the car to the dealership and they want me to change the rotors, as well. I only have 27000 miles on the car. Do the rotors have to be changed. The dealer does not resurface the rotors so they would rather change them out altogether. The dealer wants $760 for front brakes, front rotors, and changing the rear pads only. Is that too much, and should I get an estimate from a private shop, like firestone? How much do Audi brake pads cost and rotors?
Call your local autoparts store like Advance,AutoZone, etc.

Get prices %26amp; do it yourself.Or better yet if you don't want to do

that call around other garages get pricing, also not changing rear rotors when changing pads is not very smart. How much do Audi brake pads cost and rotors?
On my 1998 Audi A6 Quattro my front brake pads alone cost about $400, the price they gave you is not to be unexpected when it comes to driving an AudiHow much do Audi brake pads cost and rotors?
I think you're being had. Audi's were designed to have repeated safe stops at Autobahn speeds. In this country, where excessive speed is unlawful, European brake systems usually last twice as long. Front brakes usually 50-60,000 miles; rear brakes, 90-100,000 miles. Never use anything but genuine Audi parts in your brake system(don't go to Firestone and use aftermarket anything parts) The only exception are the brake pads made in Australia that leave no brake dust. Have your dealership prove to you that you have premature wear in your brake system, it should still be under warranty. Have your brake system examined at a brake shop for a second opinion, but don't let them bastardize your fine car with non OEM parts, you'll be sorry in the long run. If your brakes are wearing this soon, are you a %26quot;two-foot%26quot; driver??This will eventually cause premature wear in any car.Good Luck! How much do Audi brake pads cost and rotors?
use only audi OEM parts. plus you need a special tool on the rears. the price sounds correct but make sure they check the front rotors again and ask them if they are in spec. i dont think they would be bad after 27,000 miles so make sure they measure it and tell you.
